APA International Air

APA International Air was an airline based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It had flights to New York-JFK, Miami, and San Juan from its hub Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo. This airlines was created in the 1980s decade and ceased operations in the 1990s. During the 1990s FAUCETT the Peruvian airlines started APA's flights to Miami with a TriStar L-1011 and then with an Airbus 300, but they ceased operations in 1995. APA International Air got its initials form its founders A= Azar, Henry Azar (Vice President), P= Pou, Leo A. Pou (President), A= Alonzo, Raymond Alonzo (Treasurer).
